Hello my friend!

Have you sensed lately that 2024 is not going to be good for those among us who may be weak or unaware? If you are like me you’ve been hearing and reading headlines and commentaries along with perhaps dreams and visions that all point to a black wave that is about to sweep over us if we are not already on high ground, and the enemy is using all of that swell of fear to drive us!

While the exact phrase “fear not” may only be listed less than 100 times in scripture, passages encouraging us to be bold and courageous are reportedly listed 365 times – or one for every day of the year.

Suffering and facing adversity in hard times without compromise places us dead center amid having to face our fears daily and push our faith to the limits.  Will we stand?  Is it possible to learn to trust God fully and not fear?

I am so excited to announce to you that my third book: “Fear Not! Standing on Faith Under Adversity” is now available both as a paperback and eBook on Amazon!

This book and accompanying study guides are designed to help you both individually as well as in groups to discover the beauty and character of God, a God so exquisite that one cannot but help fall in love with Him! Knowing He is there for us in the midst of our pain enables us to overcome our fears and stand under adversity. He gives us grace for one another, and He has already gone before us to prepare the way.  All we need do is follow.

I have enjoyed the interaction of so many of you, reading your posts and the comments you have left on mine. Collectively you have helped to impact, inspire, and shape my writing material and I am so grateful. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on this new book! For those of you who may be willing to purchase it, THANK YOU! I pray it yields 100 fold blessing for you and those you love.

Lisa

  1. Of the 158 times “Fear not” is in the ESV, I wonder how many of those are in angels’ or God’s appearance? Seems like Heavenly beings are pretty scary when they show up!😉

  2. I like the way this is laid out. Looking forward to walking through it, listening to the Lord speaking on this much needed word. It is easy to see that there is great depth to be sounded.
